Steve Brown 2020 January 13th through 15th
You will be able to select from a number of different roughouts to carve. Steve is a very patient instructor and if you work hard you will have a finished carving. He does not help us paint the carving. There will be a charge for the roughoutthat you select. There will be a list of available roughouts Tuesday nights. This charge can range from $15 to $40 depending on the roughout. The class will cost $150 of whichthe club will pay for half. This class has been completely setup.
Richard will teach a 3-day class starting on either February, 1 thru the 3rd, or February, 8 thru the 10th. This will be a weekend class as some haverequested. Day 3 will be on Monday and may only be 1/2 day. The class will cost $150 of which the club will pick up half. He will teach a 1 1/2" caricature face on a study stick. He will supply the materials. You can see the kind of work he does at the following links: http://www.cartoons2carving.blogspot.com or https://www.facebook.com/cartoons2carvings
I have attached, below a copy of the tools he suggests. He only uses 3 different paint colors. And he is noted for his painting. This should be an interesting class for those of us who don't have a grip on carving faces.
